Amazon Games Launches New World: Aeternum, Now Available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC

Today, Amazon Games welcomes players to the highly anticipated online action RPG New World: Aeternum, now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. For the first time ever, both console and PC players can venture forth onto the supernatural island of Aeternum and experience a wild journey filled with danger and opportunity as a solo player or with other adventurers through cross-platform, cooperative online play. PC players who have already purchased New World and the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion now have access to all that New World: Aeternum offers, at no additional cost. In New World: Aeternum, shipwrecked adventurers wash ashore and set out to explore a massive, beautiful world and uncover the secret truth of the Eternal Island and its strange inhabitants. New World: Aeternum combines a compelling narrative and a dynamic open world with action-focused, skill-based combat to give players an immersive and rewarding gameplay experience. Players can look forward to:
- Challenging raid content: Brave the Hive of the Gorgons, an all-new 10-person raid where players face Broodmother Medusa, as she plots to raise an army of Hercyne. Hive of the Gorgons isn't for the faint of heart, but with careful planning, cooperation, and perseverance, players can emerge with a bounty of high-value gear.
- Heart-pounding player vs. player combat: Enter the Cursed Mists in Cutlass Keys, a free-for-all open world PvPvE zone where it's every player for themselves. Hunt for rare loot, but beware: if you fall prey to another player in this lawless zone, they'll walk away with both your pride and your loot. You can also team up with friends and take on other groups in Arenas, or experience large-scale player vs. player action in Outpost Rush and Territory Wars.
- Dramatic Soul Trials: Test your mettle in daily end-game challenges that pit players against Aeternum's most infamous villains in 1:1 battles with premium rewards.
- Exciting multiplayer expeditions: Join four allies and explore the deepest depths of Aeternum to face deadly foes, uncover mysteries about the island, and discover valuable loot. From the blighted Garden of Genesis to the fiery Empyrean Forge, expeditions in New World: Aeternum challenge players to work together and think fast to survive.
- Play your way: Choose among seven archetypes, from the brutal and mighty Destroyer to the scholar-warrior Mystic—and flexibly change at any point in the game. Plus, a deep crafting system and customizable player housing give players even more ways to carve their own path in the world.
- Seasonal events: New threats, festivities, rewards and more come to Aeternum during annual seasonal events including Nightveil Hallow, Winter Convergence Festival, Springtide Bloom, Rabbit's Revenge and Summer Medleyfaire.
New World: Aeternum features a refined leveling experience that prepares players for their journey into the beautiful yet dangerous island of Aeternum. The game has been fully optimized to look, feel and perform great on consoles, and debuts with radial menus, shift modifiers, and controller input presets, as well as toggles for target locking, aim assist, smart casting and more. New World: Aeternum will launch with full cross-play functionality, so adventurers can choose to explore the Eternal Island on their own, or side-by-side with friends across different platforms.
New World: Aeternum features all major content from New World on PC, including the full base game and the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion, as well as all seasonal content and updates that have been released since New World launched in 2021.

The Deluxe Edition, available for $79.99, includes the Corrupted Mauler Bear Mount and the Corrupted Soul Armor Skin so players can traverse Aeternum with speed and style.
